35 Week Bumpdate with PinkBlush Maternity

Being a modern pregnant mother means that it can be difficult to find clothes that fit comfortably and are still stylish throughout the entire pregnancy. The issue becomes more prevalent as you grow through each trimester, which is why I have been on the lookout for comfortable clothes throughout most of the past eight months.

Thankfully, I recently discovered PinkBlush Maternity – a small, family run and operated company that provides the latest maternity clothes and trends for pregnant mothers and women looking to add stylish pieces to their wardrobe. They specialize in maternity dresses, which I absolutely love to wear – especially now that there are only five weeks left until our due date – and my only regret is not finding their stylish pregnancy clothes sooner!

This weekend we had the perfect spring weather in the Mid-Atlantic to go out on a date in the sunshine, and my wonderful husband captured these photos to commemorate our 35 week bumpdate.

Thank you, PinkBlush Maternity, for making me feel so beautiful during my last trimester!

35 Week Bumpdate

Baby Size: Approximately the size of a pineapple!

Clothes: I'm so fortunate to have found PinkBlush Maternity at this point in our pregnancy – I've recently been searching for maternity clothes that will also fit me through the beginning stages of motherhood and nursing, and I can't say enough about how comfortable and stylish I've felt wearing anything by PinkBlush.

Gender: Girl! We get to see our sweet girl again at our 35 week ultrasound this week, and can't believe that it's the last time we'll see her before we're actually holding her in our arms.

Mood: Anxious to have her here with us already, but also anxious that time will pass by too quickly these next five weeks – we still have a few days of dog training left with her sister Olive before her arrival.

Movement: She's continued to remain active, although I know we're both running out of room, because I have felt each and every one of her kicks and stretches this week!

Sick or Queasy: No – I have been feeling sore by the end of each day, but I'll take that over the nausea and sickness anytime.

Sleep: Who needs sleep?

Symptoms: I'm becoming increasingly more tired as we approach our due date, but the urge to nest and ready our house for her arrival is still so strong.

Wedding Rings: On!

What I Miss: Being able to make it from the bottom to the top of our three-story townhouse without running out of breath.

Android to Wear On-the-Go

We've been following Android Wear for the last year to search for the best smartwatches and wearables for our lifestyle, and we finally found the Android that we want to wear on-the-go.

The Asus Zen Watch!

At the top of our list, was a smartwatch that would give us more family time (by alleviating us from our phones), as well as track our fitness and  and look stylish while doing so. The Zen Watch does all that and more, by:

  • Allowing us to view calls, messages and any other incoming information and notifications from the wrist.
  • Monitoring our targeted fitness for the day by tracking calories, heart rate, steps taken and more.
  • Allowing us to go from day to night wearing a responsive and stylish watch that fits every activity and occasion.

We couldn't be happier with the ZenWatch – which I'm wearing in rose gold and silver – and are looking forward to changing out it's band with the new MODE snap-and-swap bands recently released on the Google Store.

You can view more photos of the watch and it's features and specifications here.

We're always on the lookout for new wearable tech, so share what your favorite wearable is – and why we should try it  in the comments below!

GlassesShop.com Sunglasses for Spring

(Are you looking for sunglasses for spring? There is a discount code for sunglasses just for you, included at the end of this post!)

Glasses courtesy of (c/o): GlassesShop

Happy Spring! I am so excited that April has arrived, because with it comes flowers, spring showers and soon, summer. One of my favorite ways to accessorize in the spring are with sunglasses, but each year I have difficulty finding a stylish pair that I can wear throughout the season.

Fortunately, I was contacted this month by GlassesShop – which offers a variety of cheap glasses, prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses – to review a pair of their classic sunglasses for spring.

GlassesShop.com has so many inexpensive, stylish and quality glasses that I was immediately smitten with them all. Though it was difficult to choose just one pair of sunglasses from their shop to wear for spring, I settled on a pair of Black NewCastle Wayfarers, and am so happy I did!

I really enjoyed wearing the NewCastle Wayfarer sunglasses, because – most importantly – they were comfortable and fit well, but also for their vintage style that is polarized to fit in with the more modern trends of today.

The sunglasses were delivered straight to my mailbox within a week of ordering, and also included a glasses case and wipes!

If you are considering using GlassesShop to order your sunglasses for spring, use my discount code which will give Burm Voyage readers 50% off on eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses (sale frames excluded):

Discount Code: GSHOT50

Have fun picking out your sunglasses for spring!

Our Winter Weekend Getaway

This weekend, the snow leftover from Winter Storm Jonas had melted, and the Mid-Atlantic had a warm-up that was filled with beautiful sunshine and weather.

It was the perfect time for us to go on a winter weekend getaway to the countryside, where we were able to enjoy a farmer's market, hike and wine tasting.

We had a great time first perusing through the market at Soergel Orchards, located at the Soergel family farm, that also featured a bakery and deli that we sampled from. It was difficult to decide what we wanted to bring home, as their country store featured everything from apple bushels and cider to local honey and jams, produce, sauces and spices. We ultimately went with the cider and honey, but will definitely go back soon for more!

We then wandered off to the North Fork of Pine Creek, where we enjoyed a hike along the river.

We were surprised to find that most of the river was still frozen over, but had an enjoyable time nonetheless! We even spotted a herd of deer on the hike, though I wasn't quick enough to capture a photo.

Finally, we enjoyed a tasting at the Arsenal Ciderhouse and Wine Cellar, which is the perfect place to visit if you're like me and love all things cider. They have every flavor and variety of hard cider you can think of – from dry to sweet and flavors like apple, raspberry and rhubarb – that are all delicious! We enjoyed a few samples before deciding on taking home a growler of the rhubarb cider.

All in all, it was a great winter weekend getaway that has us looking forward to getting out more again this spring when the weather allows it.

My Fall Uniform

It is not a secret that autumn is my favorite season for many reasons, but let's add this fabulous fall uniform to the list!

I love crisp leaves, brisk October days and the opportunity to accessorize and layer that the season brings. Fall hats and boots are my favorite accessories because you can use them to dress up or down any outfit, whether your style is comfortable, chic or both.

Burgundy is my go-to autumnal color that I often use with neutrals to really make the color pop. I loved pairing this classic fedora and cardigan together for that reason, then added some warm jewelry and finished the look off with a comfortable boot.

This look is going to be my fall uniform since it combines my favorite accessories and colors, but most of all, because it is comfortable and I'll be spending most of the season out exploring Pittsburgh and the Mid-Atlantic, searching for the best fall colors to shoot.

You can shop my look below:

1. Classic Burgundy Fedora: 21 | 2. Neutral Flyaway Cardigan: Sonoma  | 3. Jeweled Bracelet Set (Gifted, similar here at: Charming Charlie)  | 4. Straight Fit Pants: Calvin Klein | 5. Tall Wedge Boots: Croft & Barrow

Which fall colors and combinations are you wearing this season?

5 Summer Essentials

This week, the summer temperatures have finally started to cool down in the Mid-Atlantic and although I'm looking forward to fall, boots and hot coffee, I'm going to miss the ease of summer style.

Here are 5 Summer Essentials that I'm going to miss wearing the most as we transition into fall:

1. Dark Oversized Sunglasses: Target | 2. Classic Silver Earrings and Cuff: Charming Charlie | 3. Black Cover-Up: (Sold out, similar here at Express) | 4. Black Romper: Forever 21 | 5. Silver Strap Sandals: Target

Dark Oversized Sunglasses: I love the simplicity and retro look of these black sunglasses. They go with absolutely anything!

Classic Silver Earrings and Cuff: This collection is perfect for anyone who loves timeless pieces like me. The combination will always be in style, but their cooler tones are perfect to wear over the summer.

Black Cover-Up: The summer heat calls for AC which often leaves me chilled, so I always have a cover-up with me. This cover-up is my favorite because it is comfortable and light-weight, and it has an open-front that doesn't hide the rest of your style while wearing it.

Black Romper: Rompers are perfect for summer days, and I love this one for it's chic and effortless look!

Silver Strap Sandals: I'm always looking for a simple sandal to pair with my summer outfits, and these ones were the best choice I've made this season. They're classic and delicate, but comfortable enough to wear out all day.

What styles were essential to your summer look this season?

5 Fall Essentials

Is October really almost over?

October is one of my favorite months in Seattle as it brings fog, cooler weather and autumn colors, making it the perfect time to bring out blankets and sweaters, and to go out and enjoy the crisp air and scenery.

Though, I couldn't have made it through the season without these 5 Fall Essentials, of which I've worn or used at least once a day every day this month.

Fall Floppy Hat: Vintage (Similar here at Target) | Plaid Button Down: J.Crew | Denim Leggings: Simply Vera, Vera Wang | Ankle Boot: Merona/Target | Travel Coffee Thermos: Gifted (Similar here at Amazon)
The last one, a travel coffee thermos, was thoughtfully gifted to me by my lovely mother, a fellow Canon camera and coffee-lover. Rest assured, it has been used almost every day since I've had it. (Thanks, Mom!)

What fall essentials can you not live without?
