I'm writing to you today from Pittsburgh, with love.
After having some hiccups with our move that included lost items, late deliveries and a delayed move-in, we were so grateful to come home to cards, letters of support and messages saying that some of you were beginning to work on plans to come visit.
Thank you, all! We can't tell you how much that meant to us.
The move aside, we've really been enjoying life in this new city of ours.
The City of Bridges – as Pittsburgh is known – reminds us alot of what we loved about living in Seattle: excellent topography with beautiful hilltop and river views, friendly neighborhoods and really incredible food.
To top it all off, the city is full of a surprising amount of arts, culture and history, including our own home that was built in 1900.
Now that we've finished moving and settling into our new neighborhood, we'll be setting aside time to really explore Pittsburgh and travel the Mid-Atlantic.
Be sure to come back each week for a new blog about our travels.
Don't forget to also follow me on Instagram for more photos of our voyage!
